This time I would attempt to explain rules that the system runs on generally. This is purely based on my experience with the system or my vision towards future. As explained earlier there are not hard and fast rules to it. People experience it differently and every experience/perspective is true in some sense. I see events in terms of causality (cause & effect) where in normal people perceive it as coincidences. This is because system has trained anyone who is known of its existence to think that way, where everything can make meaningful conclusions. Being that said, let's move on with my observations.
The first thing that comes to mind is not to judge anything or anyone. As humans we tend to judge with biases towards our own perspectives. Knowing and understanding that right or wrong are just perspectives would be key to understand the system itself. Would like to quote the saying, 'One man's terrorist is another man's freedom fighter', as it explains itself. To live as a society, we have to set rules which we have to respect to avoid chaos. That's how it should be seen. Even though system welcomes every perspective, I've seen it dragging those who are negatively influencing a person/group. In such cases it tends to favour the collective progress.
The hardships we face in life is to mould ourself or others better. System won't make any straight lines in life, it's always sine waves. It's because as per human psychology, whatever we fight for will stick longer and valued higher than easy achievements. Fear will never be the driving factor of those who achieve. They will keep on going ahead on failures and setbacks.
When thinking bigger picture, remove yourself from the equation and think it through. We are born with our biases, so in order to make impersonal decisions its much needed. Otherwise, we will be whelmed in some direction. Also, this will help in keeping our emotions at bay. And if you are to problem solve, once you have clarity of the big picture then try taking responsibility of it and see where you fit in.
Running with the flow of system is always easier, but for hard changes you might have to go through tougher paths. Knowing the flow of the system will help you in many cases. Let me site an example. The world is designed in such a way that resources are to be flown from richer areas to poorer so that the later picks up and gain the ground someday. Now think of you as a person who wishes to buy a car. If you choose to buy a car made in a third world country rather than one from rich ones, you are not only fulfilling your wish but also helping the system for what it truly intends. In essence, if we think deep enough every aspect of our life will be meaningful.
If you have access to food twice a day, water to drink, clothes to wear and a cot to sleep on then consider yourself privileged. Knowing this should make you humble when demanding for much. That said, do demand on the quality of products or services so that if will be improved upon with time. Never lose hope on the bottom tier. Your wishes could be shrinking a bit, but the value it brings to the world will outlive many times. Whoever sits at the top has the responsibility to protect the one below.
Everything in life has a price tag associated to it. You have to lose some to gain some. It could be in the form of money/happiness of some sort. System has a clear measure on everything. It is like the toll we pay to cross the bridge. Always ask 'What's in it for the world?' rather than 'What's in it for me?' would be a good start.
Being "Comfortable in One's Own Skin" matters much when deciding your own place in the world. You are at best when you are truly yourself. So be mindful of your own strengths as well as weaknesses. Also remember your roots as you grow further. We have a tendency to forget our past as time goes by, but system never will. Because past is what defines what we are today.
Most of the said rules will be vague if the social/economic impact of a person or an organization towards the world is higher. Let's say a person aims to make our moon habitable for our mankind and he knows steps to reach this. He might see less obstacles in life/work as his work accounts for a greater good in the eyes of the system.
Last thing I could remember now is the importance of being financially literate. Knowing the flow of money will give you many new perspectives. Also, the world is so connected even outside the system now, that the importance of finance is increasing. It could be a measure of one person how he/she contributes to the world or to a particular region. If only you could see all small things adding up to make the perfect picture, then only you can create a better one.
