Our race has evolved so much over the time we are more dependent on each other and it's quite impossible to go back to the past even if we wish to do so. We cannot be live independent of each other anymore. If a person decides to do so would be like feeding ourself (like farming, hunting, gathering so on), making clothes & residence ourself, allowing ourself to travel/explore, preparing for emergencies, tracking time, even to the point were making fire on own. It would be fair to say we cannot take credit for our own success, be it in any level. There are individual organizations that moves more money than the largest GDP country in the world on day-to-day basis. If we think in that sense organizations are playing a bigger and more impactful role in reshaping the world. Governments are only taking a chunk of all organizations within. And often it obstructs the flow of money or ideas favoring/protecting the natives. Currently governments are the essential 'Resistance' so that the change can be acclimatized easily by the underlying subjects. Considering the changes what System wishes to do at pace, they are the equalizers which are majorly ruled by our emotions rather than logic.
The changing dynamics we see at present like Climate Changes, Natural Calamities, Wars, Economic Instability, Technological Disruptions, New Age Diseases, Scarcity of Resources, Emerging Populism etc points to the fact we need to be moving together with the same way we are isolated each other. Separation should be just enough to keep our unique culture/perspectives intact, not to disrupt the collective targets we should achieve to tackle global issues. This all calls for a global leadership that can supersede. May be system is making a strong point for everyone before intro that why it is a 'need to have' rather than 'good/not to have'. In a way it's might want to neutralize the Equalizer!
